Role Responsibilities

You are passionate about product development and cybersecurity. You thrive on seeing customers leverage new technological solutions to address complex security challenges.

As the Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role within Comcast Technology Solutions' new cybersecurity business unit, which offers SaaS and subscription-based security solutions to large enterprises and federal entities.

Currently, our offerings include BluVector and DataBee, both utilized internally by the Comcast CISO organization.

These solutions provide advanced threat detection, threat hunting, and security operations center capabilities, enhancing security and compliance in a cost-effective manner. DataBee serves as the growth engine of the business unit, featuring an innovative security and compliance data fabric platform.

Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management & Technology Alliances within the CTS Cyber Security business unit, you will act as the product owner for key features in the DataBee roadmap.

You are expected to leverage your creative experience, product management expertise, and sound business acumen to make informed decisions that create products that delight customers and fulfill our business objectives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive feature development and enhance user experience to align with the overall roadmap.
  • Identify ways to optimize workflows, ensuring a seamless experience for users managing large security datasets, improving accuracy and speed of threat detection, and meeting compliance requirements.
  • Deeply understand customer and user needs, effectively communicate user stories, and collaborate with engineering teams to translate those needs into clear priorities and impactful features.
  • Guide the engineering team to deliver high-quality products.
  • Develop and communicate the product roadmap to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with solution architecture and marketing teams to support sales and partner marketing initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the security data fabric domain.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in product management within a SaaS environment, preferably in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, XDR, REST APIs, event/log streaming, data collection mechanisms, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Security Lake).
  • Proven track record of developing products in an agile development setting.
  • Experience shipping end-user facing products with positive customer feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence without direct authority.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and delve into details.
  • Solid foundation in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, including designing, implementing, and optimizing ETL workflows.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to companies of varying sizes, ideally a mix of startups and large organizations.

Relevant Work Experience: 10+ YearsSalary: National Pay Range: $93,594.37 USD - $219,361.80 USD. Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Base pay is one component of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to recognize employees for their contributions. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus.
