Job Overview

PackSmart, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business-to-business sales by identifying new prospects, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and maintaining connections with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and qualify new accounts and sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to promote and support our product and equipment lines.
  • Provide ROI analyzers, proposals, price quotes, and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with team members and vendor representatives to support customers.
  • Establish strategic relationships and solve customer problems.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with all sales and opportunity activity.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and stay current with industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of outside business-to-business sales experience; experience or knowledge of the packaging industry is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of CRM experience (Salesforce CRM experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • A driven, "hunter" mindset with strong prospecting and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to negotiate and gain commitment from clients.
