About the Role

Schwazze is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Representative to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Engagement
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Lead employee survey action planning, survey administration, and data analytics.
    • Partner with the HR Leadership Team to support ongoing and future projects.
  • Field Training
    • Support Learning & Development efforts, including leadership development, positive employee relations, and new hire orientation.
    • Identify training gaps and deliver or coordinate relevant training programs.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Maintain and gather payroll data, including wages, tips, hours, deductions, and corrections.
    • Create accurate and timely reporting, and provide frontline analysis and observations of trends, patterns, errors, and extract meaningful information as needed.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Facilitate a smooth and timely enrollment or other benefit change process.
    • Assist employees through the change process when they experience a life change event.
  • Leave of Absence Administration
    • Coordinate, track, and manage Company leaves of absence, including FMLA, FAMLI, Company-provided leaves, military leaves, etc.
    • Serve as the point of contact for absence inquiries, educating employees and managers on the leave process, related policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 1 year of experience supporting or administering benefits, LOAs, or payroll.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • Working understanding of best practices related to employment law, payroll, and benefit compliance.
  • Experience with benefits administration, FMLA, and company leave of absence management preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent follow-up skills and a keen sense of urgency for time-sensitive matters.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrating strong proficiency in business writing.
  • Experience following strict policy and protocols, utilizing form templates, and effectively owning a process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proven track record handling highly sensitive and confidential information in a mature and professional manner.
  • Commitment to ongoing self-development and learning.
  • Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop compelling presentations to drive the advancement of the company.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time position based in Colorado.
  • Monday – Friday; holidays, nights, and weekend work may be necessary, at times, considering payroll dates and benefits deadlines.
  • Possess the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, and driving as necessary.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Badge in the state of Colorado.
