About the Role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly motivated SASE Sales Specialist to drive the sale of our SASE portfolio in the Western Region of the US. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for executing the overall SASE Go-to-Market plan, providing thought leadership, and enabling scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with geography's leadership to engage the SASE portfolio with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Perform high-level sales planning, leading to accurate forecasting of the business
  • Build a fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, security tools, or network technologies
  • Bring to bear all cross-functional resources to achieve quota
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
  • Conduct in-person sessions, webinars, and learning materials that can be consumed by the appropriate audience
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within accounts
  • Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape
  • Establish relationships with and sell through channel partners
  • Travel 50%+ throughout the Western US, and to company-wide meetings
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of networking, network security, data security, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, and/or zero trust security
  • Platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers
  • Experience operating as a sales specialist as a member of a matrixed sales organization is preferred
  • Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion is preferred
  • Previous experience solutioning SaaS offerings, working with routing and switching preferred
