Job Title: Sales Manager - Parts

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, a leading Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager - Parts to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager - Parts will be responsible for planning and directing the sales and marketing activities of the Parts Department. This includes developing a sales and marketing program to achieve specific sales and profit targets based on current market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and coordinate all activities of the Parts Department to accomplish objectives and defined parts and labor sales goals.
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to achieve specific sales and profit targets.
  • Assign accounts and territories to meet market share objectives.
  • Evaluate Parts Department performance against established targets and standards, and take appropriate action.
  • Appraise the performance of outside salesmen against established standards and targets.
  • Hire, train, and develop Parts Department sales personnel to ensure sales objectives are met.
  • Travel with outside salesmen to stay in touch with customers and monitor current market conditions and activities of the competition.
  • Promote all MHC product and service offerings, including RoadForce, Service, Body Shop, Truck Sales, Leasing, Carrier, and Finance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years sales experience, preferably in the truck business.
  • Previous leadership/management experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment.
