Golf Rose Animal Hospital is a 24-hour emergency facility dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Job Summary

The Lead Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding client service and communication. This role is the first and last point of contact for clients, making it a critical position in creating a positive and lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and uphold the core values and mission statement of Golf Rose Animal Hospital.
  • Greet clients and pets by name with a smile and a positive attitude.
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally, providing knowledgeable advice on animal care and veterinary services.
  • Schedule appointments and surgeries, making confirmation calls as needed.
  • Train new employees using a level training method.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other team members and departments.
  • Collect payment for services rendered, including processing credit cards and making change.
  • Verify client eligibility for charge accounts.
  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of each day.
  • Check medical and computer records for accurate client information.
  • Fill prescriptions and provide routine administration instructions to clients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service or reception in the veterinary field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Golf Rose Animal Hospital's core values.
  • Computer knowledge, including keyboarding and use of communication tools.
  • Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
