Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Customer Service Representative to join our team at The Amynta Group. As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling incoming calls and reviewing documents for accuracy and legibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Handle incoming calls regarding inquiries about the status of claims for GAP, Excess Wear, Paint & Interior, and ETCH.
  • Document Review: Review incoming documents for accuracy and legibility to properly adjudicate claims.
  • Claim Information: Provide accurate claim information to dealers, agents, lienholders, and customers.
  • Claim Notes: Enter concise claim notes into the SCS system.
  • PDF Management: Split PDF files into individual documents and attach them in the appropriate section within the claim.
  • Claim Payment: Initiate automated claim payment letters and follow-up letters to customers and lenders.
  • Claim Denial: Create claim denial letters.
  • Communication: Communicate with dealers, lienholders, and customers on claim payment issues using system-generated letters.
  • Settlement Breakdowns: Process GAP settlement breakdowns received from insurance carriers.
  • Open Claim Reports: Process Open Claim reports to verify the status of claims.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum one to three years' experience in customer service.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, GAP or loan/lease coverage experience a plus, excellent record-keeping and organization skills, ability to take initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team environment.
