About the Role

Martin Marietta is a leading supplier of heavy building materials, and we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our cement plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and planners to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with MSHA standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance technician skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, inventory, and labor hours
  • Communicate effectively with plant personnel, including production supervisors, engineers, and operators
Requirements
  • Related college degree or equivalent experience in the mining or cement industry
  • 6+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on heavy equipment and industrial processes
  • Strong knowledge of MSHA standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment
