Field Sales Account Executive

Dakota Supply Group is in search of a Field Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a full-time, salary plus commission environment, where the work schedule typically aligns with standard business hours, Monday through Friday, but may occasionally vary based on business demands and client requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Sales Account Executive, your daily activities will include:
- Traveling within a designated area to establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and support.
- Collaborating with our Inside Sales team to identify and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and drive growth.
- Proactively seeking and developing new business opportunities.
- Introducing and demonstrating new products and marketing initiatives to clients.
- Communicating with management regarding shifts in product demand and customer needs.
- Facilitating the customer ordering process, which includes managing orders, addressing inquiries, and suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency.
The ideal candidate for the Field Sales Account Executive position will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a postsecondary degree is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Technical knowledge typically gained through two or more years of college or technical training, or 3-5 years of relevant field experience in plumbing and/or HVAC.
- Proven sales skills with a successful track record in territory management.
- 3-5 years of experience in a sales role.
- Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A keen attention to detail and strong follow-through skills.
- Familiarity with plumbing/HVAC software and programs to assist clients with designs and rebates.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and the ability to guide clients in their usage.
- Strong time management skills.
