KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the primary authority on EPICOR systems and their functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to system architecture, customizations, and implementation methodologies.
  • Evaluate system performance and propose enhancements to optimize business operations and ensure routine maintenance.
  • Collect, document, and assess business needs from key stakeholders, aiding in the formulation of project timelines and plans for effective implementation.
  • Lead both internal and external teams through the various phases of EPICOR implementation, including assessment, testing, and optimization.
  • Configure, validate, and execute changes within the EPICOR system.
  • Diagnose and resolve EPICOR-related challenges.
  • Deliver ongoing support and training for EPICOR end-users.
  • Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and rectify user experience and performance issues.
  • Conduct application analysis to identify errors; document and amend programs to resolve issues; address underlying problems.
  • Generate or obtain test data and execute tests to verify program logic accuracy; debug and modify programs based on testing outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the IT department, Level 2 support, and EPICOR support teams regarding any EPICOR-related inquiries.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support to ensure timely responses and maximize system uptime for users.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the EPICOR system and provide training to key personnel.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Familiarity with EPICOR software.
  • Experience in training and education.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant ERP project or operational experience in areas such as supply chain, production, warehouse management, human resources, or finance (with experience in at least 3 modules).
  • Proficiency in managing large-scale software systems.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and experience in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to articulate and comprehend technical issues with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL and reporting tools.
  • Basic infrastructure knowledge, including networking, servers, and databases.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, coupled with three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
