Job Summary

Blake Willson Group is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the full range of HR activities, including performance management, employee recognition programs, corporate-wide HR initiatives, and retention strategies.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively across departments, strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement, and adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement and manage the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Support managers and employees with performance-related issues and professional development.
  • Report and analyze company-wide performance data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain an effective employee recognition program that celebrates milestones, achievements, and reinforces corporate values.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure recognition is consistent across the company.
  • Lead or participate in company-wide HR initiatives, including diversity and inclusion programs, employee wellness initiatives, employee satisfaction and engagement, and professional training and development.
  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with business needs and legal compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, especially in the context of government contracting.
  • Maintain employee records and prepare reports on HR metrics such as retention rates, and performance outcomes.
  • Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • 2 years of Government Contracting (GovCon) experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now for HR functions.
  • An active SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.
  • Proven experience in performance management, employee engagement, and professional development programs.

Desired Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Advanced HR certification (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HR data and systems management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Blake Willson Group offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 in the United States, a comprehensive Total Rewards package, and a commitment to recognizing and rewarding performance and value.
