Role Summary:

The Business Development team is committed to introducing innovative solutions to new publishers, enhancing their engagement and community growth. As a key player in this collaborative and dynamic team, you will focus on educating and consulting potential partners, leveraging your exceptional communication skills to establish trust and rapport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture professional relationships with top-tier media publishers globally to promote OpenWeb's community engagement software and enhance their revenue streams.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for prospective deals, from initial outreach to product demonstrations and contract finalization.
  • Identify target markets and collaborate with sales operations on lead generation strategies, ensuring thorough documentation of interactions in Salesforce.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Partner Management, and Monetization, to identify and present new revenue opportunities and customized solutions to potential partners.
  • Contribute to the development of Business Development processes, objectives, and key performance indicators as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SaaS, ad-tech, or publisher sales, with a track record of surpassing business development revenue goals.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales environments and cultivate strong business relationships with senior executives to finalize partnership agreements.
  • Experience in selling technology solutions to publishers or working within a publishing environment is highly desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of online publishing, digital media, advertising technologies, and SaaS business models is essential.
  • Adopt a solutions-oriented approach to relationship building, addressing significant industry challenges with innovative technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and team-focused, with a collaborative spirit that drives collective success.
