Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to lead and oversee complex projects within our organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management and a commitment to fostering positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, ensuring effective supervision and mentorship of team members.
  • Engage in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Direct and manage projects of varying scales, ensuring adherence to budget and scope.
  • Coordinate project activities from initial concept through to completion, including planning, engineering, procurement, and contract closeout.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of client projects, providing leadership to Project Engineers and other team members.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships, while actively seeking new business opportunities.
  • Review project documentation, including invoices and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support business development efforts in collaboration with the Client Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in project management or engineering.
  • Experience in the energy sector or heavy industrial projects is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
Technical Skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering disciplines and project workflows.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including conflict resolution and risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Experience in supervising teams and managing projects from inception to completion.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and enhance work quality.
  • Skilled in networking and establishing professional relationships.
  • Capable of managing conflicts and maintaining composure in challenging situations.

Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based work, with occasional travel and on-site responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing.
  • Availability for emergency calls outside of regular hours.
