Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring, training, and inspiring a team of sales managers to reach their full potential.
  • Identifying, attracting, and selecting top talent to enhance our agency's performance.
  • Conducting on-the-ground training and collaborative fieldwork with your team.
  • Leading sales meetings and orientations for both new and experienced sales agents.
  • Facilitating business-to-business employee benefits sales initiatives and managing client accounts.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with business owners, HR professionals, and key decision-makers.
  • Fostering a corporate culture that emphasizes energy, competition, teamwork, and enjoyment.
  • Building and sustaining relationships with brokers to enhance business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Proven track record in building and leading a team of independent sales agents.
  • Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Background in insurance sales is advantageous.
  • Possession of a Life & Accident/Health Insurance License is preferred (not mandatory to apply, but must be obtained).
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively lead sales teams.

Training and Development: Comprehensive training and development resources will be available to support you as you embark on your journey as an agency owner and throughout your career.

Position Type: This role is structured as an independent contractor position, offering you the flexibility to operate your own business while receiving support from Colonial Life.
