Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our policyholders, identifying their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with policyholders to develop comprehensive insurance risk management profiles that meet their evolving insurance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales databases, client reports, and bookkeeping records to track progress toward goals and share with key stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to new and potential clients to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales.
- Stay up-to-date on industry changes that may impact customers in your portfolio.
Requirements
- Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory.
- Job seekers must already have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
- Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are highly desirable.
