Position Overview:

Pepco is in search of a knowledgeable Sales Operations Manager with a focus on the electrical sector, specifically within the Toledo region. This role will report to the local District Manager and will encompass the management of all sales activities at the Toledo branch. Key responsibilities include nurturing customer and vendor relationships, as well as participating in industry-related events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue targets while ensuring the profitability of branch sales.
  • Oversee industrial sales initiatives, ensuring the sales team effectively engages with current and prospective clients.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, addressing issues and fostering positive customer relationships.
  • Analyze competitive pricing and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor market trends to enhance profitability and propose strategies for improvement.
  • Design and implement sales programs aimed at customer retention and growth.
  • Supervise negotiations and the preparation of quotations, ensuring alignment with support staff.
  • Conduct financial analyses of products and forecast sales requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between purchasing and sales departments.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments for new products.
  • Engage in trade shows and conventions to promote company offerings.
  • Deliver presentations to various audience sizes.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical products.
  • Experience in management roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic technological skills.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience managing a sales team within the electrical industry are required.
