Job Title: Account Executive

Rice University is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for increasing athletic ticket revenue by selling tickets to Rice Athletics events, servicing customer accounts, and elevating the brand of Rice Athletics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue sales leads and conduct inbound and outbound sales calls to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Steward accounts and maintain customer records, responding to inquiries and placing orders for services or products.
  • Assist in identifying new sales leads and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales and service-related roles.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle discontented customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • One to two years of experience in a sales and service-related role.
  • Knowledge of NCAA, American Athletic Conference, and Rice University rules and regulations.
