Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Account Executive to join our sales team in $77,500.00-$126,000.00 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and building relationships with prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in-person cold calls, networking, and referrals to obtain appointments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop prospecting and sales strategies using TDS' CRM system to ensure high activity and effective closing ratios for new and existing customers.
  • New Orders Submission: Write and submit accurate and timely new orders following the established sales process.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and timely customer status and forecasts utilizing the CRM system for all new prospects and existing customer sales.

Required Qualifications:

  • Inside and Outside Sales Experience: 2+ years of inside and outside sales experience.
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation Skills: 1+ years of experience in successful prospecting and generating leads through cold calling.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and have access to reliable transportation.

Benefits:

Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays, and one floating holiday.

Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week, and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates.
