Job Summary

APR seeks a Commercial Lines Account Executive or Client Relationship Manager to lead a dedicated service team and manage a mid-market book of business. As a key member of our team, you will perform servicing and solicitation activities, analyzing and presenting renewal options to clients, promoting agency services, and resolving client inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Service Management: Independently manage client services and maintain relationships with minimal oversight from Producers.
  • Service Team Leadership: Direct a service team to manage a mid-market book of business effectively.
  • RFP Participation: Participate in interviews and respond to RFPs.
  • Renewal Options Analysis: Analyze and present renewal options to clients, selling renewal business and additional coverage lines.
  • Producer Service Proposals: Promote various services offered by our agency through tailored Producer Service Proposals.
  • Coverage Plan Recommendations: Provide expert analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverage plans.
  • Carrier Selection: Select carriers for solicitation, negotiating beneficial terms and premiums.
  • Client Inquiries Resolution: Address and resolve client inquiries, including benefits and claims issues.
  • Coverage Contract Accuracy: Review and ensure the accuracy of client coverage contracts and amendments.
  • Third-Party Vendor Management: Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of clients.
  • Service Team Oversight: Oversee and support a dedicated service team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 Years of Experience: 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance field.
  • Designations: Designations such as CIC, CISR, CSRM, or AAI are a plus.

  • Verbal and Written Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Problem-Solving and Time Management: Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Teamwork-Oriented Mindset: Teamwork-oriented mindset.
  • Planning, Organization, and Prioritization: Proficient in planning, organization, and prioritization.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360, or Applied TAM/EPIC.

Salary Context: The national average salary for similar roles ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, excluding bonuses or benefits. We offer a competitive base pay based on experience, skills, certifications, education, and internal equity and market data.
