Position Overview

We are excited to announce an opening for the role of Director of Market Research within our collaborative and agile team, which operates entirely remotely.

This position offers a unique entrepreneurial atmosphere with a flat organizational structure, providing ample opportunities for professional development and career progression. In this role, you will collaborate closely with ENACT's CEO and Managing Directors across various sectors, acting as a key liaison for leading organizations in the entertainment field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement - Serve as the main point of contact for major studios and streaming services, developing proposals, delivering impactful presentations, providing strategic advice, and overseeing the production of essential deliverables.
  • Project Oversight - Lead tailored research initiatives, including creative evaluations, syndicated research, and positioning studies. Supervise a team of analysts to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting - Actively participate in the comprehensive market research process, from survey design and testing to data gathering, report creation, and analysis.
  • Client Relationship Development - Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients while playing a crucial role in expanding our client portfolio by engaging with potential clients, showcasing our expertise, and crafting persuasive proposals.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Film, Mathematics, English, Ethnographic Studies, or Media & Communications is preferred
  • Over 6 years of experience in market research roles, ideally within agency settings or a mix of agency and client environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
  • Preference for candidates with experience in PowerBI, SPSS, Qualtrics, extensive quantitative creative testing, and a strong passion for the entertainment sector
