Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Development to formulate clear and impactful marketing messages that accurately reflect our product benefits across various marketing platforms.
- Ensure that all product messaging adheres to brand standards and effectively communicates essential selling points to consumers.
- Develop captivating content for product seals and badges to emphasize certifications, quality benchmarks, and other pertinent features.
- Work alongside regulatory and compliance teams to guarantee that all seals and badges meet industry regulations and standards.
- Engage with legal and compliance teams to review and validate product claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory mandates.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines governing product claims within the health and wellness sector.
- Create engaging and informative product descriptions for online product detail pages (PDPs) to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
- Assist in crafting product-related content grounded in scientific research and studies to support marketing claims and messaging.
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear and accessible language for consumers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a copywriter, ideally within the health and wellness sector.
- Strong grasp of marketing principles and best practices.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines concerning product claims in the health and wellness industry.
Work Environment:
- This role is situated in a collaborative office environment equipped with desks, computers, and standard office equipment.
Physical Demands:
- Position primarily involves sitting for the majority of the workday.
- Occasional walking, climbing stairs, and standing may be required.
- Frequent typing and manual dexterity are necessary.
- Effective communication through spoken and written means is essential.
- Ability to convey detailed instructions accurately and clearly.
- Must be able to hear and comprehend speech in various settings.
- Reading and writing proficiency in English is required.
- Vision clarity at approximately 20 inches or less is necessary for tasks such as reading small print and using computers.
