About the Role

We are excited to present the opportunity for a Director of Market Research within our vibrant and collaborative team, functioning in a fully remote environment.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement - Serve as the primary liaison for major studios and streaming clients, developing proposals, delivering impactful presentations, providing consultative support, and overseeing the production of essential deliverables.
  • Project Oversight - Direct tailored research initiatives, including creative assessments, syndicated studies, and positioning research. Lead our team of analysts to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting - Actively participate in the comprehensive market research process, from survey design and testing to data collection, report creation, and analysis.
  • Client Relationship Development - Foster robust relationships with current clients and play a pivotal role in expanding our clientele by engaging with prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities, and crafting compelling proposals.

Qualifications:

  • A college degree in Psychology, Sociology, Film, Mathematics, English, Ethnographic Studies, Media & Communications is preferred
  • Over 6 years of experience in full-time market research roles, ideally within agencies or a combination of agency and client settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
  • Preference for candidates with expertise in PowerBI, SPSS, Qualtrics, extensive quantitative creative testing experience, and a deep passion for the entertainment sector
