About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Market Research to join our collaborative and innovative team in a fully remote capacity.

This role offers an entrepreneurial atmosphere with a flat organizational structure, providing ample opportunities for professional development and career progression. You will work closely with the CEO and Managing Directors across various sectors, acting as a key liaison for leading firms in the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for major studios and streaming platforms, developing proposals, delivering impactful presentations, providing consultative insights, and overseeing the production of essential deliverables.
  • Project Oversight: Lead tailored research initiatives, including creative evaluations, syndicated studies, and positioning analysis. Guide our team of analysts to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Participate actively in the comprehensive market research process, from survey design and execution to data collection, report crafting, and analytical review.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients while playing a crucial role in expanding our clientele by engaging potential clients, showcasing our expertise, and developing persuasive proposals.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Film, Mathematics, English, Ethnographic Studies, or Media & Communications is preferred
  • Over 6 years of experience in full-time market research roles, ideally within agency settings or a mix of agency and client-side experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets)
  • Preference for candidates with knowledge of PowerBI, SPSS, Qualtrics, extensive quantitative creative testing experience, and a deep passion for the entertainment sector
