Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

At Tennant Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that plays a key part in executing our sales strategy and driving revenue growth in our industrial market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to drive profitable growth across our industrial product line and associated services.
  • Serve as the primary local contact for regional and national partnerships, maintaining strong relationships and fostering customer loyalty.
  • Develop and execute an annual strategy within the territory, focusing on maximizing current customer relationships, identifying new target customers, and determining the most effective method to reach the end-user.
  • Assess current channels and channel partners, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Leadshare opportunities with commercial and coatings channels, driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Conduct annual planning with key partners, recommending the addition or replacement of partners within the territory.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all products, services, and applications, effectively leveraging internal relationships to drive sales success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall business experience, including a minimum of 7 years of sales and/or business development experience and 3 years in a managerial role with direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing sales, marketing, or business development strategies.
  • Track record of sales success, with a proven ability to hire strong performers, provide clear and measurable goals, and coach and develop teams and partnerships.
  • Ability to meet DOT requirements and reporting procedures, including the ability to pull trailers as per DOT regulations and safety.
  • Must meet physical requirements of the position, including the ability to hook up trailers and load demonstration gear.
