Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist IV

At HEALTHTRACKRX INC, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist IV to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hematology, coagulation, routine chemistry, and immunoassay testing with a focus on providing 100% accuracy.
  • Adhere to laboratory quality control policies, quality control activities, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and reviewing SOP and workflow updates in a timely manner.
  • Suggest improvements to workflow processes and perform preventative maintenance checks and decontamination of equipment and workspaces.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for notifying supervisors of test system performance issues.
  • Facilitate and ensure appropriate work output based on current metrics and participate in processing proficiency testing samples.
  • Successfully complete continuing education units (CEU) credits as required for CAP accreditation.
  • Stay informed of incident reports and compliance-related issues by attending team meetings.
  • Support additional duties as required, such as lot-to-lot verifications, document control, safety committee, and validations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Possess a current license issued by the state in which the laboratory is located, if such licensing is required, and meet the following educational requirements: 60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Competencies/Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, adapt quickly to new changes, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience: 1-year clinical laboratory experience required, 2-3 years' experience preferred, unless required by the state in which the laboratory is located.
  • Certifications/Licenses: ASCP, AMT, or other organization preferred unless required by the state in which the laboratory is located.
