The Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the acquisition, storage, preparation, and dispensing of medications and IV fluids. This role requires a strong understanding of hospital pharmacy systems, including experience with sterile products preparation, pharmacy automated devices, computerized order entry, medication regimen review and consultation, and formulary management.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, working with all age groups, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to meet the needs of all customer groups. Additionally, the candidate should have concentration and attention to detail, often working under time pressures, and be able to repetitively use hands and fingers.
Education/License/Certification:
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited College of PharmacyActive, current license to practice in the state of TennesseeControlled substances registration
