Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Vice President of Finance will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's mission and goals.
  • Oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead the finance team in providing financial analysis and advice to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, including those related to accounting, tax, and auditing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, investors, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior-level finance position.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to use data to make decisions.
  • Proven track record of enhancing finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience in financial systems development and policies.
  • Ability to coach and mentor direct reports, peers, and executives on sound budget management practices.

  • Competitive annual starting salary range of $175,000-$195,000 commensurate with experience.
