Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to join our team at ALIGN PRECISION - ANAHEIM, INC. in Anaheim, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading customer and company programs/projects, facilitating communication and interaction among functional representatives, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Account Oversight: Manage customer communications and project coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely resolution of issues.
  • Program/Project Leadership: Lead customer and company programs/projects, facilitating communication and interaction among functional representatives, and ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of products.
  • Schedule and Budget Management: Track programs from early development through production/implementation against schedule and budget, reporting status to supervisor on a regular basis and executive staff as needed.
  • Recovery Planning: Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Product Development: Ensure that the right product is developed to meet or exceed company quality standards and is delivered at the right time.
  • Sourcing and Supply Chain Management: Source products, components, and materials, including identifying sources, purchasing, and supply chain oversight.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred, with proven experience in product and project management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proven technical knowledge of precision machining, supporting secondary processes, and technical mechanical assembly.
  • Quality Management: Experience working within an ISO certified, or similar, quality management system.
  • Process Improvement: Proven experience participating in, and leading, process improvement initiatives.
  • Business Acumen: Background in/understanding of strategic planning, sales and marketing, financial, and general business side of manufacturing operations.
Competencies
  • Communication and Organization: Strong organization, verbal and written communication, and management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft Office software and ERP systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Work Environment

Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to manufacturing work. May periodically travel to other business units.
