Position Overview

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Program Management Office (PMO). The successful candidate will lead the coordination, management, and status communication of their respective Engineering Department to the rest of the Program Management Team.

The TPM will report to the Director of Engineering Program Management and will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, including:

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and components.
  • Development and implementation of contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure project continuity.
  • Close collaboration with Engineers to ensure robust engineering processes, including design reviews, DFMEA, CAE, fastener calculations, and DVPRs.
  • Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders/suppliers, including attendance at weekly Product Development Team (PDT) meetings.
  • Identification and resolution of issues, including generation of Jira tickets and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Management of change control processes, including collaboration with materials planning and manufacturing teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Program Management in a technical sector, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Workspace, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Experience working with SmartSheets (or MS Project) and Atlassian Jira.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
