Position Summary

The primary focus of the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is to implement the strategic initiatives set forth by the leadership team within designated regional accounts. The RAM will play a crucial role in achieving volume and distribution objectives for the Congo Brands portfolio within their assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute company strategies and initiatives for regional and local chains within the designated territory.
  • Influence program execution through key decision-makers within the chain.
  • Take ownership of volume targets, budget management, and overall performance within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure compliance with national corporate programs, both mandated and optional.
  • Maintain local market pricing in alignment with national standards.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Organization to uphold in-store standards.
  • Establish direct communication with local and regional account teams within the distributor network to set strategic sales expectations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key management within the wholesaler network, sharing responsibilities for effective company communication.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing regional or national accounts, preferably in the beverage sector.
  • Self-driven with a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with regional off-premise chains within the assigned territory.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptable to changes within the organization and industry.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with assigned customers.
  • Results-oriented with innovative problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exhibit integrity, character, and strong leadership qualities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 50% travel is expected.
  • A clean driving record is required, along with authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon accepting a job offer.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
