Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Regional Account Manager (RAM) is to implement the strategic initiatives set forth by the leadership team within designated regional accounts. The RAM will focus on achieving sales volume and distribution objectives for the Congo Brands portfolio across their assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and promote company strategies and initiatives for regional and local retail chains within the designated territory.
- Influence program execution through engagement with decision-makers within the chain.
- Take ownership of volume targets, budget management, and overall performance within the assigned area.
- Ensure compliance with national corporate programs, both mandated and optional.
- Maintain local market pricing in alignment with national pricing standards.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Organization to uphold in-store standards.
- Serve as the primary contact for local and regional account teams within the distributor network to establish strategy and sales expectations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the wholesaler network, sharing responsibilities for effective company communication.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing regional or national accounts, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset.
- Familiarity with regional off-premise chains within the assigned territory.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptable to changes within the organization and industry.
- Willingness to travel to meet with assigned clients.
- Results-oriented with innovative problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Exhibit integrity, character, and strong leadership qualities.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
Travel Requirements
- Travel commitment of 50%.
- A clean driving record is required, along with authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon acceptance of a job offer.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
