Position Responsibilities:
This role involves engaging with affluent clients who have annual revenues ranging from $100k to $5mm. You will identify their needs, cultivate relationships, assess investment objectives, and formulate investment strategies that align with the aspirations of both current and potential clients. Key duties include leveraging technology to drive business growth, conducting profiling activities to understand clients' investment profiles and financial goals, building a sustainable client portfolio, and facilitating career development opportunities within the bank. This position requires compliance with SAFE Act registration protocols.

Key Duties Include:
  • Delivering customized financial advice through client reviews and presentations, assessing financial objectives, and recommending investment strategies.
  • Communicating optimal solutions tailored to clients' financial needs, including core banking and investment options.
  • Collaborating with Financial Advisor teams to expand their networks by sharing market insights and discussing new product offerings.
  • Utilizing the full range of resources available within the bank to benefit clients or prospects.
  • Developing and managing a client portfolio to meet and exceed established financial targets, demonstrating readiness for advancement as an advisor.
  • Prioritizing client inquiries and connecting them with appropriate internal service providers based on their needs and asset levels.
Advisor Development Program (ADP) Pathway:

As a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA), you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to guide you on your journey to becoming a successful and independent financial advisor. You will work with both affluent and high-net-worth clients, identifying their needs, nurturing relationships, reviewing investment goals, and crafting investment recommendations that align with their objectives. This role will equip you with essential relationship management skills necessary for operating in an Elite Growth Practice (EGP).

Required Qualifications:
  • Possession of Series 7 and 65 (or 66) licenses.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • At least one year of experience in the investment sector, with in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to achieve objectives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Effective collaboration skills to accomplish tasks.
  • Confident communication skills, comfortable engaging with all clients.
  • Adept at managing goals and navigating complexities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new information to provide optimal solutions for clients.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance in daily activities and long-term client strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to foster partnerships and promote lead generation.
  • Experience in balancing investment management, sales activities, and client development.
  • Strong computer proficiency and multitasking capabilities in a demanding environment.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) are advantageous.
  • Possession of insurance licenses.
