Position Summary:
The Cable Product Specialist is responsible for identifying and developing market opportunities to drive profitable growth for designated product lines. This role serves as the primary liaison for external sales, business development, and customer interactions, as well as collaboration with Amphenol divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the growth of assigned products while meeting target margin objectives.
- Analyze and respond to customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs) effectively.
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of product quotes.
- Provide monthly and quarterly revenue and booking forecasts.
- Manage product pricing, configurations, and distribution channels.
- Maintain up-to-date sales materials and promotional content, and facilitate sales training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel globally without restrictions.
- Fluency in English is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Cable or Connector industry.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, particularly with Pivot Tables.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform light work, including lifting objects up to 20 lbs.
