SUMMARY
The Project Development Manager is accountable for meeting the project sales objectives of KAI by effectively carrying out the responsibilities detailed below. This role supports various sales channels across all sectors, including key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs throughout North America during project pursuits. The position involves crafting sales strategies and tactics to enhance the market position of KROHNE products and solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist the KROHNE Oil & Gas division with solution pursuits as necessary.
- Collaborate with leading EPCs for Solutions business in the designated area as strategic accounts.
- Establish project funnel targets across all regions and sales channels.
- Responsible for achieving project targets within the region.
- Partner with sales managers in their efforts to secure sales projects by forming pursuit teams, conducting stakeholder analysis, and devising strategies to win projects.
- Execute the project process of qualification, development, negotiation, and execution with all involved parties.
- Lead projects valued over $250,000.
- Ensure sales managers and sales channels are accountable for maintaining their project funnel and achieving targets.
- Conduct presentations for customers and executives with relevant stakeholders as required for project pursuits.
- Utilize sales and marketing software along with customer relationship management tools as mandated by management for sales planning and actions.
- Provide ongoing forecasts of projects to the organization through CRM while developing effective strategies.
- Complete E-learning modules regularly as required by management and review published technical and sales communications for comprehension.
- Travel approximately 50% within the assigned region to effectively perform essential duties and travel as needed to corporate offices or other KROHNE locations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Currently, there are no direct reports; however, collaboration with sales managers, representatives, and distributors across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean is essential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; and a minimum of four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A comprehensive understanding of project pursuit and process control concepts, along with product applications gained through education and practical experience, is essential.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated experience with a high level of PC literacy, familiar with business application software (e.g., MS Office, MS CRM Dynamics, Access, PowerPoint), particularly presentation software.
A clean driving record is required. Must be legally able to operate a vehicle independently as well as with sales channel partners. Required to provide driving record and insurance coverage documentation as per current policies.
Ability to obtain a US Passport, TWIC card, and other certifications as necessary.
