Position Overview

As a Solutions Implementation Specialist at Autodesk, you will report to the Enterprise Customer Success Consulting Manager. Your primary role will be to deliver post-sale implementation consulting that facilitates the effective adoption of Autodesk solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow Implementation Specialists to provide comprehensive consulting services to enterprise clients, offering technical insights, process optimization, and training to maximize the value derived from Autodesk technologies.
  • Drive client business enhancements by advising on strategic reforms in design and manufacturing system planning, integrating CAD, Simulation, Generative Design, and other design data with production information.
  • Support sales and business development initiatives, articulating the value of consulting services to clients and assisting in the creation of customer proposals.
  • Establish new business improvement processes and prioritize the necessary solutions.
  • Lead and execute various consulting work streams, analyzing current situations, defining ideal scenarios, identifying gaps, and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Detail requirements and workflows for the application of Autodesk products, including Autodesk Fusion, Inventor, Fusion360 Generative Design, and Vault.
  • Present optimal applications of Autodesk products to clients, documenting detailed use cases.
  • Engage with clients and internal consulting teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Promote and confirm the adoption of solutions through presentations, testing, and training.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Global Consulting Group to enhance product and process offerings.
  • Develop systems architecture, test codes, and implement tailored solutions.
  • Create custom modules utilizing technical skills, including programming knowledge, and collaborate with clients on third-party solutions or train client programmers on customization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as an implementation consultant specializing in design and manufacturing solutions such as 3D CAD, Generative Design, CAM/NC, CAE/Simulation, and PLM within the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation (DX) and digital twin concepts in the manufacturing domain.
  • Experience in structured analysis of business information and workflow use case analysis.
  • Proficient in IT knowledge related to web applications, cloud technologies, and databases.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software industry business landscape.
  • Creative mindset with strong business acumen.
  • Proven management skills in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and a strong customer-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
