We are seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Service Associate at K&A Appliance, Inc. In this position, you will oversee the service operations within our appliance retail environment, ensuring that our clientele receives outstanding support for their household appliances.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Manage the daily functions of the service department, including supervision of service technicians.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through effective and timely service delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance service efficiency, ensuring tasks are completed promptly.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, escalating issues when necessary for swift resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, particularly Delivery and Customer Check-out.
  • Document and monitor current inventory of parts to maintain adequate stock levels and order necessary components for service repairs.
  • Process warranty claims with manufacturers.
  • Handle billing and collection of payments for non-warranty service work and parts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar position, ideally within the appliance or retail sector.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, focused on ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software relevant to service and delivery operations.

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
