Position: Front Desk Supervisor
Location: Shelborne South Beach
Overview:
The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the front desk operations, ensuring a seamless registration and checkout experience for guests. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Oversee the registration process, confirming reservations, and validating guest information.
- Promote loyalty programs and provide recognition to members.
- Handle guest payments during registration and checkout, maintaining accuracy in financial transactions.
- Supervise front desk staff, delegating tasks to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide ongoing training and support to front desk agents to enhance their skills.
- Manage safety deposit box access and post additional charges as required.
- Maintain front desk equipment and manage supply inventory.
Attendance and Compliance:
Regular attendance is essential for the successful execution of this role. Employees are expected to adhere to company policies and attend all scheduled training sessions.
Supportive Functions:
This role may involve additional supportive tasks as determined by management, including maintaining a log of guest interactions and following up on unresolved issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of two years of experience in hotel front desk operations. Supervisory experience is preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Candidates should possess basic computational and computer skills, as well as knowledge of relevant employment laws.
