The role of the Front Desk Supervisor involves managing the front desk operations, ensuring a seamless registration and checkout experience for guests while supervising the front desk team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival.
  • Register guests in the system, confirming reservations, personal details, and payment information.
  • Promote loyalty programs and ensure recognition for members.
  • Handle guest payments during registration and checkout, maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
  • Oversee front desk agents, assigning tasks related to guest registration, billing, and maintaining a tidy front desk area.
  • Provide continuous training and support to front desk staff.
  • Manage the issuance of keys and access to safety deposit boxes.
  • Ensure the maintenance of front desk equipment and supplies.

Attendance and Compliance:

Regular attendance is crucial for this position. Employees must adhere to the established attendance standards and participate in all required training sessions.

Supportive Functions:

This position may also involve additional supportive tasks as determined by management, including:

  • Maintaining a log of guest interactions and following up on unresolved issues.
  • Monitoring credit opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years in hotel front desk operations is necessary, with supervisory experience preferred.

Skills:
