Overview:

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the front desk operations, ensuring a seamless registration and checkout experience for all guests. This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively oversee daily front desk activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and greet guests upon their arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  2. Facilitate guest registration by verifying reservations, personal details, and payment information.
  3. Promote loyalty programs and ensure that members receive appropriate recognition and benefits.
  4. Handle guest payments during check-in and check-out, maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
  5. Supervise front desk staff, assigning tasks related to guest registration, payment processing, and maintaining a tidy front desk area.
  6. Provide ongoing training and support to front desk agents to enhance service quality.
  7. Manage safety deposit box access and maintain accurate records of miscellaneous charges.
  8. Ensure that all front desk equipment is well-maintained and that supplies are adequately stocked.

Attendance and Compliance:

Regular attendance is essential for the successful execution of this role. Employees are expected to adhere to established attendance standards and participate in all scheduled training sessions.

Supportive Functions:

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Front Desk Supervisor may be required to maintain a daily log of guest interactions and follow up on unresolved issues, ensuring effective communication with management.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in hotel front desk operations is required, with supervisory experience preferred.

Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Basic computer proficiency and numerical ability are also required.
