Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement the strategic vision for the PMO, ensuring project management practices are in sync with organizational objectives.
  • Create and uphold project governance structures, guaranteeing compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Regularly assess and refine project management processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness.
  • Oversee project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and allocation, to maximize project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with essential stakeholders to grasp project requirements, expectations, and priorities, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges related to project execution and formulate mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs to track project progress, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and foster accountability.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the project management team, nurturing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Supervise direct reports and set objective annual goals for their performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and develop performance improvement plans as necessary.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
  • Experience in change management and organizational transformation initiatives is advantageous.
