This position demands a meticulous individual with a comprehensive grasp of SEO principles, content strategy, and the ability to interpret and act on data derived from analytical tools. The Senior Financial Writer will be tasked with generating a substantial volume of content, promoting it through diverse channels, and collaborating with internal teams to expand our readership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance search visibility and drive traffic to our content through effective SEO techniques.
  • Produce an average of 10-20 high-quality financial articles weekly, targeting engaged audiences by utilizing your expertise in SEO and content optimization.
  • Analyze data from analytics tools to derive actionable insights for editorial decisions.
  • Collaborate with the outreach team to ensure that outstanding content is promoted by credible sources and experts.
  • Manage content creation in the content management system and maintain our tracking system with pertinent information.
  • Partner with SEO specialists to ensure content is effectively optimized and aligns with user intent.
  • Promptly address updates and revisions to content based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
  • Disseminate content across social platforms and with influential contacts.
  • Support the editorial team and engage with the broader content team as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience producing at least 10 pieces of content weekly in a fast-paced setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in SEO best practices, content creation with a focus on EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness), and current industry trends.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional writing abilities and SEO expertise.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and analytical tools.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A goal-oriented mindset, demonstrating commitment and resilience in professional environments.
  • Specialized knowledge in personal finance is a significant advantage.
