Field Parts Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of VVG products and pricing.
  • Identify potential leads, manage prospects, and secure new business opportunities.
  • Engage with existing customers and actively seek new clients.
  • Coordinate parts orders with internal sales teams.
  • Achieve or surpass sales targets for new business.
  • Conduct outreach activities to schedule initial and follow-up meetings with key decision-makers.
  • Document and schedule all sales activities effectively.
  • Prepare necessary sales documentation to facilitate prompt transactions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Regularly meet with sales management to review performance and discuss prospective clients.
  • Advise parts staff on unique customer requirements.
  • Follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
  • Act as a representative for VVG in the field.
  • Address customer concerns and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular visits.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in parts or service departments within the trucking sector.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must successfully pass a post-offer drug screening.
