Job Summary

We're seeking an Enterprise Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As an Enterprise BDR, you'll be responsible for generating new business pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting efforts. You'll work closely with our Account Executives to identify and source new pipeline opportunities, and use your knowledge of Checkr's solutions and value propositions to create interest with potential clients.

Responsibilities
  • Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting and sales efforts
  • Work with Account Executives to create account penetration plans and build a pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Conduct thorough research to create effective outreach strategies and contact the right people at the right time
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Checkr's solutions and value propositions clearly and concisely
  • Maintain and improve CRM data quality as it relates to your book of business
Requirements
  • Experience in a world-class outbound sales development role
  • Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and manage unstructured time
  • Personable, clear, and direct communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
Preferred Qualifications
  • Track record of success in developing and managing outbound pipeline at a SaaS company, selling into Enterprise businesses
  • Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or equivalent sales tech stack
  • Created successful outbound email messaging to source meetings with prospects
  • Consistently met or exceeded quota in an outbound sales development role
