Business Development Representative Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to represent Databricks to prospective customers. This role is ideal for a sales professional looking to help scale out a game-changing enterprise software company and develop their sales career.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team of like-minded individuals and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a growing regional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the wider sales team to develop territory strategy, build pipeline, and drive adoption
  • Identify potential Databricks use cases to grow consumption within customer/prospect accounts
  • Develop solution selling skills, with a focus on Big Data & AI
  • Maintain active inbound and outbound communications with prospects using creative follow-up

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience
  • Determination and courage to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity and hunger to learn and stay up-to-date about the Big Data/AI industry
