Account Executive, Local & Regional Ad Sales

Vets Hired is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our Local & Regional Ad Sales team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local and regional businesses, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed Sales Goals: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through persistent outreach and consistent closing of new business.
  • Develop Sales Strategies: Author plans and strategies to quickly grow new categories and markets, and create sales collateral, emails, and customized pitch decks to support sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with Peers: Own your business while collaborating at a high level with peers and team members on best practices, and build media plans and help manage campaigns to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Partnership: Be a great partner to our clients, continually growing revenue and helping to define and optimize sales and marketing processes that drive desired sales outcomes.
  • Product Expertise: Develop a high level of expertise in our product offering as well as the competitive landscape, and consistently communicate sales activity, pipeline, and market trends through updates to leadership and keeping CRM up to date.
  • Outreach and Meetings: Hit daily/weekly outreach and meeting metrics, and have fun, make someone laugh three times a day, and don't be a jerk.
Requirements
  • Consultative Sales Experience: 1-3 years of consultative sales experience, preferably in digital, video, or TV advertising.
  • Team Sales Environment: Thrives in a team sales environment, with exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Sales Aptitude: High sales aptitude with the ability to solve problems and think quickly on your feet, and a consistent track-record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Fluid Environment: Ability to work in a fluid environment and adjust priorities on-the-fly, with a high level of integrity and follow-through.
  • CRM Experience: CRM experience (Salesforce, Booster, Pipedrive, etc.) is a plus, and a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000.
