Human Resources Generalist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our team at Labor Solutions, LLC. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in implementing various human resources programs and ensuring compliance with labor and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics, such as leaves, compensation, and benefits, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace, and assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management, including performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates, to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form, ensuring compliance with labor and safety regulations.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws and regulations.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems, such as PeopleSoft.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or a relevant field.
