Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to deliver exceptional service to a wide range of clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including the preparation of project proposals and financial estimates.
  • Conduct comprehensive geotechnical analyses, including slope stability assessments, seismic evaluations, and foundation design.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed geotechnical reports, ensuring high-quality deliverables through collaboration with editing and data teams.
  • Manage project timelines, scopes, and financial performance, ensuring profitability and timely invoicing.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering their professional development.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and implement construction oversight programs to guarantee project success.
  • Engage in continuous professional development in geotechnical engineering and project management.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering or a related discipline (required).
  • An advanced degree in civil or geological engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • A valid Professional Engineer's License (required).
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to travel as needed, primarily within the region.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license with a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
