About the Role

Voda Cleaning & Restoration of St. Louis seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Executive Director of Administrative Services. This key position plays a vital role in the company's success, overseeing various administrative functions and ensuring the effective management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and manage the work of the business office, college budgeting, and accounting, as well as facilities maintenance and other administrative support functions.
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term fiscal plans for the company's divisions and departments, ensuring compliance with District policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Provide expert professional assistance to the company President and other company and District management in areas of assigned responsibility.
  • Manage assigned functional areas to ensure compliance with District policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations and requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Plans, organizes, directs, controls, integrates, and evaluates the work of the company department.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors work plans to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Contributes to the development of and monitors performance against the annual department and company budget.
  • Manages and directs the performance of managers and staff.
  • Directs and oversees the selection of staff.
  • Establishes performance requirements and personal development targets for direct reports.
  • Regularly monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvement and development.
  • Recommends compensation and hears and acts on grievances.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, including budgeting analysis/control or business management for a large governmental or educational organization.
  • Experience in a California community college district is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of general and governmental accounting.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, Government Accounting Board standards, and other standards and requirements applicable to community colleges.
  • Ability to plan, organize, manage, assign, delegate, review, and evaluate the work of assigned staff and the company business or administrative services office.
  • Ability to analyze financial and budget data and prepare accounting statements, budgets, reports, summary conclusions, and recommendations.
