Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Issue Resolution will report directly to the Director of Issue Management and will collaborate closely with the Enterprise Issue Management (EIM) and broader Controls teams, as well as essential stakeholders throughout the organization. This role is pivotal in advancing and sustaining the enterprise issue management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Vice President will spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of the issue management program, which encompasses policies, standards, and execution related to:

  • Issue identification
  • Root cause analysis and evaluation
  • Remediation and closure
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • Escalation processes

This position requires the ability to cultivate strong relationships with counterparts within the team and across various Business and Functional units.

The individual will lead workstreams and reviews, providing strategic direction to a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality work products.

Collaboration and Guidance:
The Senior Vice President will regularly offer guidance to frontline units across assigned projects and a variety of business and functional areas. This role will act as the primary lead for specific work products, ensuring timely completion and addressing challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a degree from a prestigious academic institution and have 6-10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Quick learning and understanding of complex topics
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience in guiding deliverables and taking initiative on projects
  • Strong organizational skills to keep team members aligned and focused
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with colleagues across diverse business functions

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with strong capabilities in Excel, including Python and Power Query, as well as PowerPoint. Experience in developing control frameworks and risk management strategies is highly desirable.
