Job Summary

Opportunity Bank of Montana is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the bank's accounts payable activities and assist branches and departments with accounts payable processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop a competent accounts payable staff, assist with performance of accounts payable functions, and oversee accounts payable functions such as prioritizing invoices and vouchers and coding by general ledger expense and cost center.
  • Assist branches and departments with accounts payable processes and procedures, oversee and review payments, and oversee vendor maintenance.
  • Act as an administrator of the Concur Expense system, including updating and maintaining employee access, reviewing, and processing batches, and performing other administrator functions as necessary.
  • Perform complex accounting reconcilements, assist with accounts payable audit requests, and maintain accounts payable filing and record administration.
  • Assist with analysis of bank financial statements, process bank holding company and subsidiary expenses, and research and problem solve accounting variances.
Requirements

A 4-year college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or 2 years of relevant college coursework and 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with bank accounting software and system integration, knowledge of processes and regulations governing accounting in financial institutions, and banking experience are preferred.
